Boy oh boy. GM must REALLY be hurting. They were offering 0% financing for up to 72 months. My wife has talked about wanting a Saturn VUE for as long as I can remember.

I was looking through the local paper today (yes believe it or not, I DO use old tech from time to time, hard to believe me the web loving news geek that I am) and I saw this big classified for 0% financing.

Well I couldn’t resist and we went down to the dealership after work. We are now proud owners of a 2008 Saturn VUE with some good options to boot! They had to order it, the dealer said they have been selling like hotcakes and I believe it given the fact they are offering 0%, what a deal!

So I took care of my wife, I love you Christy!!!!

Well no one reads my blog except me lol so I guess this is “redundant” in a sense. My wife and I just bought our first house and as such we will be moving soon.

I serve this site out of my home so until I can get the internet re-established I will have a static “out-of-service” page until then hehe.  Really looking forward to the move, we hope to be out of our current location by the end of April, but I will be taking the server down within the next week or two to get it packed

It’s getting close to Christmas. We both spent the day out today finishing up our Christmas shopping for the family as well as for each other.

She asked me this evening if I wanted one of my Christmas gifts early, and I figured sure why not! That’s one less I’ll have to snoop!!! lol.

She handed me a CD. It was Rush, The Spirit of Radio, a collection of their greatest hits from 1974-1987. I was ECSTATIC!!!!!

There’s a little history there. I am a huge fan of Rush. Some of you may or may not know that I have played drums on and off over the years, although it’s been many years since I have touched a drumset, I still continue to be interested in the art of drumming to this day.

Neil Peart is the drummer for Rush. He was my INSPIRATION. I absolutely worship this guy. He has a style that is second to none and easily joins the ranks of all time greatest drummers in my opinion.

All in all, sweetheart thank you so much for this CD. It really made my night and I can’t think of a better Christmas gift to receive. It was very personable and I will undoubtedly cherish it for years to come.

Merry Christmas 2007 and I thank god for having the best wife in the world, she is my best friend.

So, I’m on my way to work this morning, I get down to the end of my road and notice a few emergency vehicles. Figured it was a wreck, and then I got closer and saw this:

I don’t think anyone was hurt, as they were all standing outside of their vehicle, but it left me saying WTF!!!!????? It wasn’t even icy out!!!!!
