Wordpress introduced an app for the iPhone/iPod touch.
Pretty cool so far, but Im still not used to the keyboard on this, hence the reason I have a Blackberry instead of an iPhone
Boy oh boy. GM must REALLY be hurting. They were offering 0% financing for up to 72 months. My wife has talked about wanting a Saturn VUE for as long as I can remember.
I was looking through the local paper today (yes believe it or not, I DO use old tech from time to time, hard to believe me the web loving news geek that I am) and I saw this big classified for 0% financing.
Well I couldn’t resist and we went down to the dealership after work. We are now proud owners of a 2008 Saturn VUE with some good options to boot! They had to order it, the dealer said they have been selling like hotcakes and I believe it given the fact they are offering 0%, what a deal!
So I took care of my wife, I love you Christy!!!!
I found this over on another Ham’s blog, I couldn’t agree more as I’ve seen these types of things myself from time to time:

Perhaps these are some of the reasons why I think Emcomm is almost a joke to me, I’ve never been able to take it seriously because you just have too many tools that don’t know the true meaning of emergency communications and embarrass the rest of us that do.

Ok I’ll admit, I was never a fan of the iPhone because I got sick of hearing about it all last year. I played with one at an Apple store in Chicago last year and suddenly changed my mind. It’s undoubtedly the coolest phone ever.
Well Apple has done it again.
They’ve released the much anticipated 3G iPhone. I’m not sure why they call it “3G”, in the CDMA world that was the generation before EVDO… someday I’ll get it all straight!
Wishing I could get one… Quite content with my iPod touch for now though!
UPDATE: Well it seemed to hold pretty stable, I guess I’ll have to give them a thumbs up!
Here are Twitter’s plans during WWDC tommorow:
http://blog.twitter.com/2008/06/twitterapple.html
I’d be real surprised if they stay afloat, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
I’m looking forward to WWDC coverage myself tommorow, what will Mr. Jobs have in store for us!!???
Well in my quest to save electricity at home, I have decided to move back to a commercial hosting provider. I am back with Dreamhost (again), I hope they are better this time. I have not found a comparable plan out there yet that offers the level of service they do, so they are hard to beat.
We’ll see how it works out. I’ll be moving my ham radio site over here as well and shutting my webserver down, just makes more sense to me at this point in time.
Well I found this amazingly useful and cool site called Twitter some time back and haven’t really started using it until here recently.
It’s pretty amazing. I’ve connected with many like minded people, and the short 140 characters or less to the simple question of “What are you doing?” really provides an insight to people’s everyday lives. You can update on the web, use a standalone client, or send a text message from your cell phone, and also receive updates from the people you “follow” that way as well.
If your not on Twitter, I encourage you to give it a try. I quickly became addicted!!!!
You can find me at http://twitter.com/digilink
Ok, admittedly I used to hate Apple computer. I went from hating them a year ago to absolutely obsessing over the company.
Steve Jobs is a marketing genius and sells products that just work and work well.
In the past year I have bought a black Macbook, a 16gb iPod touch, and as of tonight a 24″ iMac. I have not put my Macbook or my iPod down since the day I bought it. I was able to move all of my documents, music, photos, etc from my Macbook over to the new iMac with ease.
I just can’t say enough how utterly cool Apple is! The biggest thing that drove me to Apple’s products was not only it’s ease of use/stability, but it is also built on a UNIX platform (BSD). Anyone who knows me well knows I love *nix!
At work I’m known as the “script and IP bitch”
What’s the purpose of this blog entry? Hell I don’t know I just felt like writing about it
I’m going to let the server “soak” for a few days before I move into it’s final resting location in my new house, I seriously doubt my wife will let me keep it in the living room where it is currently at ![]()
<strong>EDIT:</strong>After many router troubles that I *STILL* don’t have worked out (GRRRRR) the server was down for a few days. It will be up for now until I can get everything worked out.
